Open positions:


Powertrain Engineer – West Virginia

In this position, you will:

  • Design, build, and develop new powertrain products for current and future STaSIS vehicle models as part of the powertrain development group
  • Tune and optimize engine management software through chassis dyno testing in conjunction with our software development group
  • Plan resource allocation and scheduling for all phases of powertrain product development
  • Organize and conduct powertrain product testing schedules for both on-track and street-based tests
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on product design and manufacturing requirements
  • Oversee and manage assembly and installation of STaSIS engine and transmission products on customer cars and development test cars
  • Manage project deadlines and scheduling requirements

Job requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering-based major.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience preferred.
  • Experience with ECU engine management software required, Audi-based applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic engine design and exhaust engineering fundamentals required.
  • Hands-on experience working on automotive applications is necessary. Applicants should be skilled in using hand tools and power tools. Machining and welding experience is a plus.
  • Applicant must have a positive attitude and be willing to do what it takes to finish a project, including working overtime and weekends.

Suspension Engineer – West Virginia

In this position, you will:

  • Design, build, and develop new suspension assemblies for current and future STaSIS vehicle models as part of the vehicle dynamics group.
  • Create conceptual designs of suspension assemblies using Solidworks CAD.
  • Plan resource allocation and scheduling for all phases of suspension product development.
  • Organize and conduct suspension testing schedules for both on-track and street-based tests.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on suspension product design and manufacturing requirements.
  •  Oversee and manage assembly and installation of STaSIS suspension products on customer cars and development test cars.
  • Manage project deadlines and scheduling requirements

Applicant requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering-based major.

  • Experience with CAD programs and applications required.  Experience in Solidworks and Cosmoworks preferred.

Engineering Intern – West Virginia

The STaSIS intern program is intended to help future engineers gain real-world experience before permanently joining the workforce. Interns will have true hands-on experience working with automobiles and its various individual components. As a fast-growing, dynamic company, STaSIS will give engineers the opportunity to experience the business side of the industry and learn valuable communication, team-building and organizational skills.

In this position, you will:

  • Create conceptual designs of parts and assemblies using Solidworks CAD.
  • Perform stress analysis using Cosmoworks FEA.
  • Conceptualize and develop a database and schedule for current and future work projects.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on product design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Assist STaSIS technicians with assembly and installation of STaSIS products on customer cars and development test cars.
  • Assist with transmission rebuilds – disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and re-assembly.
  • Assist with operations and shipping of products for customer orders.
  • Be an integral part of the workshop technician team for shop upkeep and cleanliness.

Applicant requirements:

  • Current college enrollment in an engineering-based major.
  • High proficiency in MS Word and Excel.  Experience in MS Project and Access preferred.
  • Experience with CAD programs and applications.  Experience in Solidworks and Cosmoworks preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working on automotive applications required.  Applicants should be skilled in using hand tools and power tools.  Machining and welding experience is a plus.
  • Applicant must have a positive attitude and be willing to do what it takes to finish a project, including working overtime and weekends.
  • Must be willing to do normal shop upkeep in addition to assigned engineering duties.
  • 4-6 month internship duration.
